The Handloom and Textile Technologies of Zambia (HATTAZ) is a member-based organization. We work to address the issues of women’s income generation, value addition, and job creation in the Zambian cotton sector.

Assist cotton farmers and weavers in general to extend their enterprise beyond primary production

Assist cotton farmers to access adequate fine yarn of Zambian lint for their weaving and textile needs
Be a purpose vehicle that will facilitate the promotion of a standard-based woven and textile product production and marketing their products to the local, regional and international market
